BOOK COVERS' CONCEPTS
April 2020
The book is about Roger Walkowiak and his controversial victory on the 1956's Tour de France. The three different book covers have basically the same concept: "WALKO" is written as it was a very confusing bike track (the Tour de France) which Roger Walkowiak bravely faced and won. The track is empty and a solitary Walkowiak rides across it – a representation of his frustration after his winning being so criticised.

The idea of a midcentury design, requested by the author, were created through the colors and a vintage typeface.
