"The GENTE Consortium provides interconnected educational and environmental conservation solutions for the people of Equatorial Guinea. Projects aim to strengthen higher education, aid sustainable job creation, and protect the country's rich biodiversity. Equatorial Guinea, the only Spanish-speaking country in Africa, is home to a diverse range of primate and sea turtle species."


Based on client's brief, the main concept was to mix two powerful forces: woman + nature. The ceiba tree – symbol of the country – is represented as part of the woman's face, which was inspired by Fang masks and sculptures, a Central African ethnic group that represents about 85% of the total population of Equatorial Guinea.
